CONTEXT

As the physical and digital worlds collide, our virtual identity - who we are online - continues to take on importance. In many ways, these virtual identities have begun to surpass our physical ones in significance, as more and more of who we are and what we’ve done becomes digitized.

Our social media profiles have become the first canvases for these new virtual selves. For future generations, losing one’s virtual identity means losing a part of oneself. To delete Facebook is to commit a new form of suicide.
